At a special session held at Manav Chetna Vikas Kendra (MCVK), Indore, international life coach, author, and trainer with over 35 years of experience Saify Saraiya shared his insights on the interconnectedness of the body, mind, and consciousness.
He said that understanding human health requires us to look beyond the body and its physical symptoms. According to him, a person’s mind, thoughts, outlook towards life, emotional state, and inner condition also need to be understood while exploring health and well-being.
Author of Zero Medicine Wisdom, Saify Saraiya discussed the concept of “Philosophy of Psychology Impacting Physiology,” highlighting how our mental and emotional states can influence our physical well-being. He emphasised the need to view the human being holistically rather than looking at illness only through its physical manifestations.
He observed that a significant part of today’s approach to health focuses on symptoms, diet, and treatment. At the same time, he raised an important question: How deeply does an individual understand oneself, one’s mind, emotions, and way of living?
During the session, Saraiya explored concepts including the Hero and Herd Minds, our True Nature, Six-Mind Maps, the distractions of the five senses and conscience, and Power, Position, Possession and Purity. Through these themes, he highlighted the importance of self-observation and developing a deeper understanding of life.
He also encouraged participants to consider illness not merely as a problem, but to explore whether certain bodily experiences may also serve as signals that deserve deeper attention and understanding. His emphasis was on observing and examining the relationship between the body, mind, emotions, and inner consciousness rather than accepting ideas merely as beliefs.
The session at MCVK was not structured as a conventional lecture. Instead, it evolved as a collective enquiry and dialogue, encouraging participants to examine questions around health, well-being, self-understanding, and life from a more integrated perspective.
